Primer on Using Chinese Text in CMS?

Post by postiffm »

Hi,

CMS 1.11.1. I have a mostly English website. I have a page that has mixed Spanish and English. Works well. I want a page that has mixed Chinese and English. I put in the Chinese text into the content editor, hit 'Submit', but when I go back to edit the page again, the text turned into all question marks. The Chinese text is gone. I wonder if someone can give a few high-level steps as to what I would have to do in order to use CMSMS properly for this application? Thanks--Matt.

I am presently able to view Chinese sites. Did you have the problem on all websites that had Chinese on them or just the CMSMS site you were working on?
