[SOLVED] 1.10.3 to 1.11 - Admin Pages List

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[SOLVED] 1.10.3 to 1.11 - Admin Pages List

Post by quethiock »

Hi everyone,

Been using CMSMS for quite a few years now but not a "power user". However, I have a problem during the upgrade from 1.10.3 to 1.11.

When you view the list of pages in the Admin views, instead of getting something like:

Home

for a page under "Page (Title)" Heading and being able to click on the that to edit that page, I get something like this:

HomeContent ID: 56
Title: Home
Page Alias: index

If I hover the cursor over this odd listing, the correct and expected alias then appears but when I come back to the Pages Content screen again, it's back to the odd listings, and have to hover over the links again.

Also, while showing the more detailed information, or after hovering, I still can't click that link to edit the page. I have to go to the end of the line and use the little "Edit" icon on the RH end of the line.

It's puzzling me, can't see what's causing it, so just wondering if some kind person on this Forum has come across it before and could point me in the right direction please ;) .

Many thanks in advance

Mike

Re: 1.10.3 to 1.11 - Admin Pages List (Admin Themes)

Post by quethiock »

Problem solved - did a fresh install for another "quick" site I needed to build and noticed that the Admin theme was now OneEleven and the Pages List worked OK. Hmmm!

Went back to my troublesome website Admin Interface and changed the Admin theme from "default" to "NCleanGrey" and it worked OK.

Went back to my fresh installed version and realised the "default" admin theme was not listed.

So the problem was a legacy issue in that the older "default" admin theme is not compatible with CMSMS 1.11 even though I had carried out a proper upgrade from 1.10.3 to 1.11

My setting was carried through the upgrade process even though it was not compatible.
