[SOLVED] No page contents accessible after upgrade to 1.11

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[SOLVED] No page contents accessible after upgrade to 1.11

Post by Niko »

Just upgraded a CMSMS v1.10.3 to v1.11 - the upgrade works flawlessly, no errors, nor red-crosses in any checked items. But as soon as I try to edit or copy a page's content the server just delivers a blank page in the admin console as it'll do with the site itself (delivered header info says "500 internal error"). All other things just worked fine. Already did several times cache clearings and table repairs. Any hints?

Full system info may help and make sure none of the Modules need upgrade or that you don't have any that are too old to use...

Ups, just forgotten:

Cms Version: 1.11

Installed Modules:
CMSMailer: 5.2.1
CMSPrinting: 1.0.2

FormBuilder: 0.7.3
TinyMCE: 2.9.11
AceEditor: 0.2.4.2
CGExtensions: 1.30
CGSmartImage: 1.9.3

Config Information:
php_memory_limit:

Server Information:
Server Api: apache2handler
Server Db Type: MySQL (mysqli)
Server Db Version: 5.1.63
Server Db Grants: Found a "GRANT ALL" statement that appears to be suitable
Server OS: Ubuntu Linux 11.04 (Linux 2.6.38-15-generic-pae on i686)
Web Server: Apache v2.2.17

Pretty URLs on or off makes no difference. A second CMSMS v1.11 on this box runs fine under its own virtual server but was build up from scratch under 1.11 and never upgraded from an older CMSMS installation.

Theme is an adapted version of the BizBuzzV2 theme.

Hm, seems to work with the AdvancedContent 0.9.4 BETA module. Will test it further and report.

[solved] Yes, works with AdvancedContent 0.9.4 BETA.

If you would have posted your system info in first place I could have told you Advanced Content module needed upgrading, glad it's fixed...

Yep, sorry for that! CMSMS and web development in general is a new thing to me so I have to deal with some lacks in knowledge and astonishing dependencies here and there...

I'm very happy with CMSMS and it's worth to dip deep into it. A friend of mine is one of the initial developers of the Redaxo CMS and it seems to be obvious that I use it - but CMSMS suites me better and after a couple of days I got two CMSMS driven sites quite ready to publish, that's great! :)
