Which ecommerce module?

Hi all. I'm looking for a good ecommerce module, but there really doesn't seem to be much choice. All I can see are "simple" modules, and often ones that don't seem to be updated regularly. Is there anything, even a paid commercial product, that has some weight? Ideally I'd like to see a demo, not too much to ask I think?
