Editing content in editor, not browser-based

For questions and problems with the CMS core. This board is NOT for any 3rd party modules, addons, PHP scripts or anything NOT distributed with the CMS made simple package itself.

Hi,
hopefully i am right in this board, and sorry for the bulky thread title.

Is there a way to edit the content (a site) with a normal text editor installed on the pc, and not in the browser? I know, for templates and stylesheets there is the TemplateExternalizer, but is there anything like this for content, maybe built in in cmsms?

No there isn't any way to edit content by pulling it off the site then adding it back like template externalizer...
