formbuilder: Could not access file [solved]

Post by magallo »

hi guys, i've been trying to get formbuilder to work while processing uploaded files.

Initially i wanted to email pictures with my form by selecting the file and then attaching it to the email. This solution constantly gives me the error: "Could not access file: /hermes/bosweb26a/b1706/ipg.mysitecomlogo_small.jpg". I can clearly see that there's an obvios error where the file name is "logo_small.jpg" and for some reason it got connected to the root_path.

Other posts suggest checking System Information and verify the correct settings on root_path. For some reason mine is not set correctly (red X), I was able to contact my host and they changed the root permission it to 755 and nothing really changed.

Being fully convinced that this was the reason of the problem i spent so many hours trying to fix this and still gone nowhere. I then remebered i have other sites on different servers so i recreated the same form with upload on a godaddy server where i have all green lights on my System Information page. The form still gives the same error, except the root path is changed...

I'm out of ideas, please help..
Magal
