Try to install showtime module (image slider) but failing

Post by MatthewPoll »

I am trying to install the showtime module, in cms. It displays OK when I select the flash option, but I want the slider to work with Jquery. Jquery isn't working.

I've tried re-installing showtime & the Jquery module. I keep getting different errors for the Jquery module:

1) Is it probably best to reinstall cms made simple?
2) I want to use Jquery, do I need to install any other plugins to make Jquery work? Apart from the Jquery module.

Thanks a lot :)

I use jQuery for a lot of things and never use the jquery module, I just upload the scripts to a folder in uploads then call them in the template <head>...

I've just had the same issue. It worked with the previous version of the Module. This time, although I have deselected all the controls, titles etc as I just want the images for decorative purposes, I get a small image on the left hand side of the box and the image title and controls with a black background in the rest of the box, none of which was selected in the Settings. Looks horrible.

I have to select the swfobject to see the image filling the space whereas I really wanted the jQuery option.

check the html source of your site if jQuery isn't being called twice.
