Embed tag no longer working?

Post by steven999 »

For various reasons I'm trying to embed an Iframe into a page. I've followed the steps...
1){embed header=true} both in metadata section of page and inbetween the header tags of the template
2){embed url=http://www.google.com/} in the content area - both with wysiwyg and as html

I get a blank page. When I look at the source I can see the iframe coding so my header seems to be doing the job. I have this working with earlier versions of cmsms. I'm now working with 1.10.3....has something changed or have I forgotten something? Thx.

tried removing the trailing slash...same result, blank page. Also tried the url that is working on an earlier version of cmsms with embed and Iframes and got the same results on this version (1.10.3), blank page. Tried on a couple different pages and templates. I do see in some posts on the subject from 2007 that people were editing the embed plugin...I haven't done that...can someone verify embed and Iframes work in this current version of cmsms? I would be grateful after pulling my hair for a couple hours today.

first make sure that you've viewed source and that your source outside of the iframe validates.

Edit: Then check for javascript errors.
