Horizontal submenu tutorial step by step

please can you help me with horizontal submenu? I need any understandable and step by step tutorial about this. The most important thing in any tutorial is how to change my template and my CSS to work properly in sites. Thanks for any advise or any step by step link.

are you trying to create a new horiz sub menu from scratch or trying to modify an existing one? what specifically about what you are trying to do are you having trouble with? If you are new to css in general i would suggest reading up on that a bit as you'll be needing it throughout your website and then if you've got a default install of cmsms there are different templates and stylesheets associated with different pages so you can view them with: right click> inspect element in any real browser to view the css associated with these page elements. then you can look at an existing horizontal menu and see what's what. good luck.
