[SOLVED] Site crashed after installing Link Manager

Post by nmorgan »

Hello,

I have a current install of CMSMS on a development server. I installed Link manager and immediately got an error. I uninstalled it. But something is still wrong. I tried to manually go in and uninstall but don't see Link Manager in the modules. When I view the site I get this error instead of the site:

Warning: include_once(/home/bvizzard/public_html/lib/adodb_lite/adodbSQL_drivers//_datadict.inc) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/bvizzard/public_html/lib/adodb_lite/adodb.inc.php on line 158

Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening '/home/bvizzard/public_html/lib/adodb_lite/adodbSQL_drivers//_datadict.inc' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/bvizzard/public_html/lib/adodb_lite/adodb.inc.php on line 158

Fatal error: Class 'ADODB2_' not found in /home/bvizzard/public_html/lib/adodb_lite/adodb.inc.php on line 161

Hi

Which linkmanager module are you using?
LinkManager or LinkMgr?

The second one should work for sure!

Looks like I installed the wrong one. I installed Link Manager. The problem is once I uninstalled it I can't get past the error that I showed when I view the site.

I would be happy to try the one you suggest but I have to get the site working again first. Any how I can get back to where I was.

Thanks so much.

yes through module manager I removed the files. And I went into my cpanel and checked the module folder and there is no folder for linkmanager

What is weird is what seems to be affected is clicking the magnifying glass to view the site while in the CMS. If you click the home magnifying glass or the large one at the top right in the CMS you get the error:

http://morganwebhosting.com/~bvizzard/

but if you click on one of the other pages you can view the site.

or if you manually add index.php you can get to the home page. Something has affected the preview - so technically the site is not down the site preview seems to be screwed up.

manually putting in the whole link shows the site:

I did a second clear cache and it seemed to work that time. Thanks for your help.
