I get an error when trying to edit my websites pages

Post by Dalboy »

Hi everyone,

I am hoping that someone out there could advise me as to why I am getting an error when I try to update my web sites pages. I have moved hosts and since moving I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method ErrorPage::RemoveProperty() in /home/f1hoverp/public_html/lib/classes/contenttypes/ErrorPage.inc.php on line 66

I am new to all this php stuff and nonsense so please be gentle with me. I have read the support request post and believe you may need this information:

CMSMS 1.5.1 most likely isn't made to deal with PHP 5.2.17 so I would suggest you upgrade to the latest version as we support only the last 2 releases...

Good Morning Dr.,

I have completed an upgrade to a newer version as below:

cms made simple: 1.10.3

That is the version the softaculous recommended that I upgrade to. I hope that this is the correct version where I can ask for advice.

If it is I have changed the php.ini also to the correct requirements and can now edit the pages again. But another error has arisen on the pages. My global content header, which is the links to other pages has now vanished even though it still shows in the admin section, and on the coding. I know this is probably something that needs activating but I am having trouble finding how to do it.

The site is http://www.f1hoverpodracing.com

Any help or advice would be much appreciated

Thanks

I have no idea what you mean, it looks ok to me, what is "global content header, which is the links to other pages" is it a menu or ?...

Hi

The global header is the page links on the top right of the page. When I upgrade to the newer version of CMS these vanish and I cannot get them to reappear. I can then edit the pages but this sort of defeats the object of being able to edit the site via CMS.

The page as it stands at present is still on the older version of CMS, or version 1.51. I need the sit live as we are in major funding stages and cannot afford to have it down even for 5 minutes. I know it needs updating but it creates more problems than its worth to do it.

Any advice again would be very helpful...

Thanks

Hi again

i have done the update to Version 1.10.3 and as I said before the links on the top of the home page have again vanished. I am now getting this error on the pages

string(108) "Smarty error: [in tpl_head:22 line 6]: [plugin] unknown tag - 'stylesheet' (core.load_plugins.php, line 198)" string(120) "Smarty error: [in tpl_head:22 line 6]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'stylesheet' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 590)"

I am lost now.....

Thanks
Darrin
