[SOLVED] Looking for a good, basic CMSMS tutorial or book

For questions and problems with the CMS core. This board is NOT for any 3rd party modules, addons, PHP scripts or anything NOT distributed with the CMS made simple package itself.

[SOLVED] Looking for a good, basic CMSMS tutorial or book

Hi there,

I'm new to CMSMS, and am looking for a great beginner's guide. I have a basic understanding of CSS and HTML and am looking for either a great book, or a great tutorial to take me through the steps where the CMSMS Introductory Webiste ( which you download with a site ) leaves off.

I don't have a technical background so am looking for something that is easy-to-follow. Does anyone have any recommendations please? I already have CMS Made Simple1.6 Beginner's Guide by Sofia Hauschildt, which is great, but I need something to compliment that, and cover the areas that she doesn't.

Any suggestions will be hugely appreciated, and will also stop me flooding this forum with my newbie questions!

Thanks Rolf. An excellent guide so far. (I'm about half way through) Covers the basics in a very easy-to-understand approach. Great for novices like me
