Website backup services/software... tips?

There are a few website backup services that basically copies files and dumps the database automatically. This is something I need, 'cause I have several clients and the sites are in different servers, so the backup process is slow and just so boring

Have you tested website backup services? Any tips? What about security (passwords and so on...)?
