CGFeedmaker question

I have searched these forums and read the help and documentation and I still can't get this to work correctly. I have running cms 1.10.3

I decided just to use the default news feed. I placed the link {CGFeedMaker action='rsslink' feed='news' imageonly='1'} on the template page.

I placed the page specific meta data on the news page I made
{CGFeedMaker action='autodiscovery' feed='news '}

I click on the feed link I placed on my template and all I get is a bunch of

Can someone please correct what I am doing wrong.
