removing an menu item from admin console

Post by eripey »

Okay, I have tried uninstalling page blocks module and it doesn't seem to work. So I removed the page blocks module folder and all references regarding pagblocks in mysql. I still have the "Page Blocks" showing up in the admin console menu, where you mouse over content. Where in the db do I remove the item from the content dropdown?

Thanks.

edit: I do have version 1.10.3

I think there is a table in the DB called cms_modules, cms_ being the extension used when installing...

Yes, I deleted pageblocks from that table and the menu item is still there.

I ran into a similar problem yesterday.. I had renamed a module using module_custom/lang and couldn't figure out why the menus weren't changing.. After about 30 minutes of debugging, I thought of clearing the cache. :-[
