TinyMCE Insering image

HI am new so please forgive me if I miss something straight forward!

am using version 10.1.3
I've done a bit research and it seems that microtinymce doesn't let users access to a file picker while trying to insert an image into the page.

So I've installed TinyMCe and uninstalled micro. And given file permission to the editor including advanced Tinymce profile and file manager but when I log in as a editor and try to insert an image the browse to choose a local file still won't work. It does for admin.
Tried different browsers and also tried Use static config file: but to no avail

Not sure what am I missing?

TinyMCE has more than one "Profile", you may have to enable file/folder options on the other profiles...

Yes I forgot to mention that I had gone into the profile
and ticked Show file management options

just realised what it is, it works if I have Modify Files ticked, do i still need

Allow usage of advanced profile in TinyMCE
Advanced usage of the File Manager module

and I was right that this fuction does'nt work with micro?

Micro tiny will let you pick images to insert in content but doesn't have the full file/image function...

Hi, I am having a similar issue - I think - for some reason when I try to add an image to a page using the Insert/Edit Image from the TinyMCE menu, it will not let me select from subfolders when I click on 'browse', it just stays on the main directory ('uploads/images'). I never had this problem before. I tried some of the things mentioned on this post, but did not do it... could this be an installation issue? or any other setting I can check?

This particular site has been up for 2 years and has the latest version of CMSMS 1.10.3

I found this thread, and I was able to get it to work by checking off the 'Use Static Config File' - but I am not sure if this would affect TinyMCE in any way...
