Serious problem after .13 upgrade

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Serious problem after .13 upgrade

Post by dcross »

I've upgraded to 0.13 and fixed the Smarty issue, but now I realise that the first two menu items show the standard "Congratulations! You now have a fully functional installation of CMS...." text.  If I edit the pages involved in the Admin section, they show my own correct text that I had previous to the upgrade.

Why then would these two menu links be showing the default CMS text and not my own as defined for the page?  The three links below the top two work prefectly fine.

Win2k3, PHP 4.3.4, MySQL 4.0.23

Regards.

That's a little strange.  How did you do the upgrade?

Backed up my database.  Copied the website files as a backup.  Downloaded the upgrade and replaced the existing website files.  Ran the upgrade.php file.  Selected the option to upgrade the database.  There was no errors generated by the upgrade page.

Then I got the Smarty error when viewing the site.  However in the course of resolving that problem I was told about clearing the cache.  So I clear the cache and now the pages are working as they should.

Thanks.
