404 Error page not working

Post by fearmydesign »

Hello, for some reason my 404 Error page that I have created is not working on this particular site http://www.marylandgranite.com but it works fine on all others that I have one... is there anything I could be missing in the settings of my cmsms that I can check? I also checked under my global settings, and its not checked under "Content Types that are NOT allowed:" which would prevent it from even showing as an option when creating a page. It's the latest 1.10.3 version, and everything else is working perfect...!

Thank you

Yes, that is the correct error page, but here is what I was trying to type in... http://www.marylandgranite.com/error and nothing was happening... so you added the .htm at the end, and it shows... weird, on my other when you just put a random word after the / it still shows.

Ok, now this is working properly... apparently the changes I made to my mod_rewrite extension (from 'htm' to 'html') had something to do with this... why?... not sure, but it fixed it... I guess 'html' is considered a more standard version (extension). Here is the link to the thread.
