I haven't been on this site for a while because of the whole MLE thing, my site needs it therefore I stayed with CMS 1.8.2 because it works perfectly and I haven't had the need to add more modules so far.
So out of curiosity, I checked back the forum on this site and just finished reading the Poll about MLE on the Forum. Then I searched a little more and found http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/mlecms
I am trying to see what this does and how it works, and to me it seems like it will give me an MLE site with some drawbacks, like search.
In the end, is this a better way to have a multi-lingual site? or was the old way still better?
Thank you

Re: MLECMS Module
There are a couple of methods (search the forums). The one that fits my needs is Babel. It's marked as stale, but AFAIK it works on CMSMS 1.10.x (I have not made a fresh install on top of a 1.10.x, but all upgrades worked so far for me). You can also take a look at the CMSMS wiki. IIRC there are a few tips on the subject.
"There are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary... and those who don't."

Re: MLECMS Module
Please keep in mind that ML Fork or even 1.8.2 are not supported, so do not expect much help in case you get in trouble.
There was a security flaw which was fixed in 1.9.4.3 and current Version is 1.10.3, i would consider if i would prefer a ML Fork over running a vulnerable Site.
I wrote a quick how to for MLE module here http://blog.arvixe.com/creating-a-multi ... ms-module/ so you can see and decide for yourself.
PS: xxl Author of MLE Module has also written a ML to MLE converter Module
