Site keeps updating - cant find out how to stop it!

its over writing the custom changes and destroying the site.

what do you mean by custom changes... altered the core code??

Here is someinfo about my install:

1.5.1

Better go to a local retirement home. You might have more luck to find someone there who knows about that version.

The only advise is to upgrade to the latest version (1.10.3)

I've never heard about anything auto-updating.
