attributes in CG ecommerce modules

The attributes of items do not show up in the drop down menu, making it not possible to select the attribute options for the cart. I noticed that this has been a problem for others but I have been unable to find where a solution has been offered.
I would appreciate some help to make my ecommerce workable.

Have you checked to make sure Products is selected in Suppliers Settings tab of the Ecommerce Base?...
