Again we made heavy use of the news module and its templates for alot of the content around the site, especially the Customer Segments pages.

CGSimpleSmarty grabs content from child pages of summary templates like the about page so the client can easily generate those themselves.
We use a similar idea on this page too

Great site. Innovative and easy to get around while displaying a lot of information.

How did you create the top menu with the image submenu?

Wonderful site!

But you will get some speed increases using Google Pagespeed.

For instance you could use

Thanks for this!
I have installed and will try to get it working :)

Pagespeed score is 81, so not bad to say the client handles all their own images. Also I dont know why but pagespeed says that compression isnt enabled when it is. I always do it via .htaccess...

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Elkman and Stefanus, the nav is actually pretty simple

If you take a look at the markup you'll see it works like this:

Code: Select all

{*if there are there any sub menu items to display*}
{if $node->children_exist == true}
    <div class="submenu" >
        <div class="submenu-box-img">
            {*Generate a link to the page URL and grab that pages thumbnail, which the client chooses from the options tab of page edit*}
            <a href="{$node->url}"><img src="{$node->thumbnail}"></a>
        </div>
        <span class="img-text"><a href="{$node->url}">{$node->menutext}</a><span>
{/if}
The rest of the animation and slides are just jquery trickery, not my department :D
