How extracting .gz-file and downloading checksum-file?

Hi,

Question 1:

I have downloaded 1.10.2 (the .gz-file) to my computer and don't get the Extract command when I right-click on the file. It obviously does not seem to work the zip-programme. Is there a .zip-file to download instead or which programme do I need to download to be able to extract the file?

Question 2:

When I click on the link (cmsmadesimple-1.10.2-checksums.dat) to download the file it just opens up in the browser. When I try to save it from the browser it becomes a .txt-file.

How do I download the file?

1. Download this programme: http://www.gzip.org/

2. Right-click on the file you'd want to download, 'right-click' -> 'save as'
It should be a .dat file and when you open it on your local computer it will look like a text file. Not important.
Either upload the .dat file on step 2 of the CMSms installation process or go to your CMSms admin panel -> 'Site Admin' -> 'System verification' and upload it there.
