error messages on using site search

Post by npd1164 »

Recently installed CMS MS 1.8.2 - on IIS & PHP 5.3 .  All seems to run fine and everything so far has been trouble free, except I just tried running site search for the first time.  The correct results are returned but along with them comes two php error messages:

Deprecated: mktime() [function.mktime]: The is_dst parameter is deprecated in E:\web\public_html\mysite\lib\adodb_lite\adodb-time.inc.php on line 662

Deprecated: gmmktime() [function.gmmktime]: The is_dst parameter is deprecated in E:\web\public_html\mysite\lib\adodb_lite\adodb-time.inc.php on line 662

I have only two modules installed - Calguys Calendar & Formbuilder but the errors only show when running a search so i'm guessing is was not related to them.

Any ideas as to what's up or how to correct?

CMSMS does not formally support PHP 5.3 at this time.
And we definately don't support E_STRICT or E_DEPRECATED.

Okay, that's fine ...but maybe the installer should warn to that effect.  Instead, all it says is "(minimum 5.2.4, recommend 5.2.12 or greater)" and gives a green checkmark.

To most people, "Or Greater" implies just that.

Answer is still the same ;)

Another answer could be:
CMSMS 1.8.2 is no longer supported upgrade to latest version, due to lack of Module support for 1.10.x series at least upgrade to 1.9.4.3
