Module manager default settings

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Module manager default settings

Post by janvl »

Hi,

cms 1.10.1, clean install

in the default settings the url for the repository is:
http://www.cmsmadesimple.org/ModuleRepo ... equest/v2/

This produces a 404

Any ideas?

Kind regards,
Jan

Thanks for the answer,

I get an error, in german.

"Fehler!
Bei der Kommunikation mit dem Modulserver ist ein Problem aufgetreten"

I could not find any log-files with an error, not in CMSMS nor on the server in PHP.

I can load XML-files and install modules that way.

So I am puzzled where to look for the problem.

Kind regards,
Jan

Hi,

These are the symptoms I see as well. Unfortunately no one was able to help in this post:
http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopi ... =3&t=57737

(as it was before calguy did some fixes to the Module Repository I tried again today, still with no success)

I've provided quite a bunch of information, and tried quite a lot of debugging stuff. But I couldn't find any documentation on the communication between the Repo and the Module, so I'm a bit lost...
