Can Content Blocks have a Character Limit? [solved]

Post by JM6891 »

Hi everyone!

Is it at all possible to add a character limit onto a content block? I have a client asking about it and I've searched but not found any answers to this as yet.

Thanks in advance.

You could truncate the output. Will that work? You can use |summarize

Hi there

This worked! I just did:

{content|truncate:30} and it limits the characters to 30!

Thanks so much once again!

This is great.
Is there a way that someone adding content can be told when they've reached the content limit? I've experimented with this and it seems like I can add as much content as I like, but only the number of characters specified will be displayed. And it makes the background disappear on my content box.
I need a way to warn people adding content that they've written too much.

Can you help?
