MicroTiny not working on CMSMS 1.10.1
Hello!
Just today I did a fresh install of CMSMS 1.10.1 and got everything setup and working well, except for one thing: I'm not able to see the MicroTiny WYSIWYG when editing pages. I've got MicroTiny selected as the front-end wysiwyg in the global preferences.
I've uninstalled the module, deleted it from the host, re-uploaded the MicroTiny module, re-installed it via the CMS admin, cleared the server cache, logged out, and the problem still persists.
I've looked up several similar posts, but they mention temporary work-arounds and then it seems that they are resolved in the latest SVN version, so I'm assuming my version as of today would have those bugs fixed.
Could anyone help me?
Thank you!
Robert

MicroTiny included with 1.10 download worked for me. download 1.10 package and copy MicroTiny over the module included with 1.10.1. worked for me.

If you did an upgrade make sure that you go into user preferences and select your wysiwyg.
Re: MicroTiny not working on CMSMS 1.10.1
I tried that, it didn't work. I really don't know what to do next. Tried everything I found on this site, but still no MicroTiny. Tried TinyMCE, but that also didn't show. Of course I selected the WYSIWYG in the user preferences.rotezecke wrote:download 1.10 package and copy MicroTiny over the module included with 1.10.1. worked for me.
What am I not seeing and why is it so difficult to get something so basic to work?

Re: MicroTiny not working on CMSMS 1.10.1
did you install the 1.10.1 MicroTiny first? Just using the version that comes with 1.10 didnt work for me either (i tried on several installs). Install 1.10.1 and then copy over from 1.10. not very scientific, I admit.
on the other hand, i reverted back to TinyMCE as MicroTiny adds unwanted <p> around {tags} or {UDTs}, ruining validation.

I did exactly that. Using TinyMCE doesn't work either. In both cases I only get to see html.
Re: MicroTiny not working on CMSMS 1.10.1
Not working here either. Full blown Tiny is fine though.

[SOLVED] Re: MicroTiny not working on CMSMS 1.10.1
Finally found TinyMCE and it works fine now! It's too bad, as I was looking forward to seeing the new, slimmer MicroTiny version - maybe in the next new-client setup I do. Thanks all for the suggestions and help!

MicroTiny does not give wysiwyg for me with Firefox 8.0 but works with Internet Explorer 9. I have fresh installation, cmsmadesimple-1.10.1-english.tar.gz, using database from earlier version. Hope this helps debugging.

Re: MicroTiny not working on CMSMS 1.10.1
It's been a while since anybody replied to this topic, but as I have the same problem, I found it a good idea to 'bump' the topic..
If anybody found a solution for this, please let me know. I would be most grateful!

Re: MicroTiny not working on CMSMS 1.10.1
Not sure what's your problem exactly, mine got fixed by adding missing language files, see http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopi ... 67#p267067. That resulted identical copy, except for Welsh files, to the solution RonnyK suggested in the above thread.Edwin_IandD wrote:If anybody found a solution for this, please let me know. Re: MicroTiny not working on CMSMS 1.10.1
I fixed my problem by updating to CMSMS 1.10.2
Re: MicroTiny not working on CMSMS 1.10.1
FYI
A fresh install of 1.10.2.
No MicroTiny on Firefox8
On Explorer 9, I get MicroTiny but the interface is corrupted.
(Especially with regard to images.)
e.g. I am seeing this instead of the correct labels.

Re: MicroTiny not working on CMSMS 1.10.1
I had exactly the same problems with MicroTiny and TinyMCE but after upgrading to 1.10.3. When I have tried to edit any page there wasn't any wysiwyg toolbar, and text in input text area was in html. Below it I had "use WYSIWG editor" checkbox - didn't matter if it was checked or not, no wysiwg. See attached screenshot cmsms.png.
I thought that upgrade caused this. After few hours of debugging I have discovered that this was a matter of browsers... On FF and IE it doesn't work (both wysiwg editors) but it works on Chrome and Opera
Browsers versions:
17.0.963.56 m - chrome
8.0.6001.18702 - IE
11.61 - opera
10.0.2 - firefox
It's a very crappy bug. It will be nice if developers fix it
EDIT:
I have just inspected this issue with firebug on chrome and firefox. Guess what is missing?
Chrome:
<div class="pageinput">
<textarea id="content_en" name="content_en" cols="80" rows="20" style="display: none; " aria-hidden="true">{FormBuilder form='abc'}</textarea>
<span role="application" aria-labelledby="content_en_voice" id="content_en_parent" class="mceEditor defaultSkin">

<table role="presentation" id="content_en_tbl" class="mceLayout" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" style="width: 651px; height: 409px; ">
</span>

<input type="checkbox" checked="checked" onclick="toggleEditor('content_en');" id="check_content_en"/>
