[Solved] News content gone after upgrade to 1.10

I updated from the latest 1.9.x to 1.10.1 and now the News content / categories / templates are gone. Using the latest News module 2.12.3

I had disabled (but not uninstalled) all non-core modules during the upgrade.

Edit: I can see that the database tables are empty after the upgrade. Do the tables still have the asme structure, so I can copy them?

How can I recover the news content? I have full backups of the previous version.

I had the same issue. But because I had only 2 news, I reinstalled the module and issue had gone.
It's the same after upgrade from 1.10 to 1.10.1

I just recovered the news by dropping the new database tables, restoring the old News tables from a backup. All seems OK now

So it is solved for me but perhaps still an update problem.

It seems to me, that the old / copied News data was cleared when the News module was enabled after the update, but I am not 100% shure of this.
