[Menu Manager] Remove an item from a vertical menu

Post by aywho »

Hi,
I would really appreciate if anyone can help me with Menu Manager. Have been spending hours but still have no clue.. =/

I have two sets of navigation on the site: a Main and a Sub.

Main (horizontal): [Produce] [Dairy] [Meat]

When you click on [Dairy], it takes you to a page with a vertical sub menu on the left:

Dairy (content type: Content)
- Cheese (content type: Internal Page Link)
- Milk (content type: Content)
- Egg (content type: Content)

Since the page is showing the content of "Cheese" by default, I'd like to remove "Dairy" and leave only the links "Cheese", "Milk" and "Egg" on the left.

I have no luck even with using "excludeprefix" as a parameter. Can anyone suggest a way to handle this? Do I need to modify the module template?

Thanks soo much!

Have you tried removing the page it corresponds with? Or go to 'options' and check off 'Show in Menu?'

If the vertical menu is generated by the menu manager, it only shows pages that exist.
