Problem with 1.10 upgrade...

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Problem with 1.10 upgrade...

Post by Sy »

The last CMSMS upgrade I tried resulted in rendering the site in-operable, and unfortunately, having posted the problem on these boards, no one could offer a solution.

Now having downloaded 1.10 and applied, it didn't get stuck like the last update, however it doesn't seem to work either:

http://onlineslotracing.com/

Warning: require_once(/smf/SSI.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/a/v/a/avasigadmin/html/osr/lib/classes/class.usertagoperations.inc.php(260) : eval()'d code on line 2

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/smf/SSI.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php') in /home/content/a/v/a/avasigadmin/html/osr/lib/classes/class.usertagoperations.inc.php(260) : eval()'d code on line 2

I've checked the folders and files and all exist!

Hello
Warning: require_once(/smf/SSI.php)...
Looks like a problem with some third party software...
Or a problem in a User Defined Tag.

Could you please check these?

From 1.10 Announcement:
e: Look at all of your User Defined Tags (UDT’s) to insure that they should be compatible with CMSMS 1.10. See the technical information below to see what has changed.

The problems also appear when I try to access variables items in the control panel:

Do you use a custom/3rd party admin theme?
Try to use a NCleanGrey or default and see what happens

For a long time I found upgrading CMS very straight forward and without problem, however the last few updates have been very problematic.

I guess that is related to the custom code, as the Rolf and uniqu3 said above.

Go to: Admin -> Extensions -> User Defined Tags

and see if you have more than 2 UDT listed there, if yes tell us.

How can it be related to custom tags?

I go to the control panel, login and immediately see a bunch of errors, which disappear to rapidly to capture.

If I then click on Modules->Extensions, I see:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/a/v/a/avasigadmin/html/osr/lib/classes/class.useroperations.inc.php:422) in /home/content/a/v/a/avasigadmin/html/osr/lib/classes/class.admintheme.inc.php on line 188

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/a/v/a/avasigadmin/html/osr/lib/classes/class.useroperations.inc.php:422) in /home/content/a/v/a/avasigadmin/html/osr/lib/classes/class.admintheme.inc.php on line 191

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/a/v/a/avasigadmin/html/osr/lib/classes/class.useroperations.inc.php:422) in /home/content/a/v/a/avasigadmin/html/osr/lib/classes/class.admintheme.inc.php on line 194

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/a/v/a/avasigadmin/html/osr/lib/classes/class.useroperations.inc.php:422) in /home/content/a/v/a/avasigadmin/html/osr/lib/classes/class.admintheme.inc.php on line 195

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/a/v/a/avasigadmin/html/osr/lib/classes/class.useroperations.inc.php:422) in /home/content/a/v/a/avasigadmin/html/osr/lib/classes/class.admintheme.inc.php on line 198

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/a/v/a/avasigadmin/html/osr/lib/classes/class.useroperations.inc.php:422) in /home/content/a/v/a/avasigadmin/html/osr/lib/classes/class.admintheme.inc.php on line 203

There is no custom code invoked at this point and the only custom code I have is implemented via tags in the actual site.

http://onlineslotracing.com/phpinfo.php

Is there anything in the above that could cause a problem?

Are you using a custom Admin theme?

By the way:
People here try to help you, but if you don't give any information that helps tracking down your problem, then don't wonder if none is able to provide you a solution.

In whole topic you didn't bother to name:
From what version did you run your upgrade???
What are your server specs???
What non core modules do you have installed???
What non core UDT's or Plugins have you installed???
Is it a custom Admin theme that you are using???

and son on and on...

I don't think you call at Car Service Garage and say "hey my car is broken, engine doesn't start up" without naming "Type of car, Year..." do you?

Ok fair point

>> From what version did you run your upgrade???
I upgrade whenever a newer version is available, so the upgrade was from the last version.

>> What are your server specs???
I have no idea what the specs. of the server are, its a shared server hosted by godaddy, running linux.

>> What non core modules do you have installed???
The modules I have installed are:
CMSMailer 2.0.2
CMSPrinting 1.0
FileManager 1.2.0
MenuManager 1.7.6
MicroTiny 1.1
ModuleManager 1.5
News 2.12.2
Printing 1.1.2
RSS2HTML 1.2.4
Search 1.7
ThemeManager 1.1.4
TinyMCE 2.8.4
nuSOAP 1.0.2

>>What non core UDT's or Plugins have you installed???
I have a couple of UDT's but none that would come into effect in the Admin panel.

>>Is it a custom Admin theme that you are using???
No, the standard

Thank you, I must say that the last two upgrades have been problematic, this upgrade may not be at fault at all, as the install may have been broken due to previous upgrade failure. I did post problems before after the previous upgrade, I didn't get any replies to those, so it may be that I have to blank and start over...

Line 422 of class.useroperations.php is at the end of the file. Please make sure that there are no extra line feeds etc. after the ?>
