Searching PDF files

For questions and problems with the CMS core. This board is NOT for any 3rd party modules, addons, PHP scripts or anything NOT distributed with the CMS made simple package itself.

Searching PDF files

I have an intranet site running the latest CMS code.

Majority of information in the Intranet site is comprised of the pdf files that are converted from MS Word or Excel.

Is there a way to somehow index these files pdfs so the CMS search feature can actually search the content of these pdf documents.

At this time, the only results that pull are related to the pdf file names, and nothing that is within the pdf files.
