While installing, I get this message:
Test for remote URL
Outgoing http connections do not appear to work! There is a firewall or some ACL for external connections?. This will result in module manager, and potentially other functionality failing.
I definitely need module manager to work, so how can I fix this?
test for Remote url failed
Re: test for Remote url failed
Make sure you have allow_url_fopen enabled in your php.ini.

Re: test for Remote url failed
Thanks, but it turns out I can't without upgrading my hosting plan. Now I'm having problems adding pages. I go to the pages section and click add new content, fill the stuff out and click submit. It says that the content has been successfully added to the database, but doesn't show up in my list of pages or when I view the site. Yet when I try again, and type in the same page alias it says that the page alias is already being used, as if the page I tried creating earlier does exist. Can you help me?
Re: test for Remote url failed
If you have upgraded from an older version you most likely have to set the server time zone so the pages will appear when you make/edit them, you can test this by making a new page then clear the site cache and it should appear...
