[Solved]TinyMCE new version?

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[Solved]TinyMCE new version?

Post by jasnick »

Using CMSMS 1.9.4.3

My TinyMCE 2.8.4 started playing up all of a sudden by adding doctypes to every news entry I made which results in things like Untitled Document being displayed in items. This was after I upgraded CMSMS to 1.9.4.3. I thought I would upgrade TinyMCE to the latest version but it wouldn't do it. Got an error message. So decided to uninstall it and install the latest version. I did so and it told me it was installed and activated.

However, it was nowhere to be seen, not listed in Modules and when I went to select it as the WYSIWYG option, it was not listed.

So I re-installed the old version and still have the doctype issue. I have searched on this site about this but didn't really understand if there was a definitive result. I reset all the settings in it back to default but it didn't solve the problem.

I really need to sort this, not for myself, but it is necessary for my clients to be able to use it.

Thanks.

Check the tiny plugin tab and make sure fullpage isn't ticked...

Thanks Dr.CSS. I did check that a while ago and it wasn't on.
I will mark this one closed as I recall I managed to install the latest version of TinyMCE and this fixed the issue.
