(solved) New pages do not appear when adding new content

Hi

I have installed CMSMS before and never had this problem.

In the pages section i am trying to add new content, when i give the page a title and hit submit i get the message: -

Success The content was successfully added to the database.

But nothing appears in the table of pages or in the menu on the site.

i am running 1.9.4.2 with the core installation with no changes made, I have also tried 1.9.4.3 same problem.

I have not seen this problem before and I am at a loss at to what has caused it.

Try clearing you cache in global settings.

If the pages appear after that, then you have cache issues.

To solve them, set the TimeZone correctly in your config.php.

I set the timezone to gmt I normally set it to Europe London I guess that is what happened.

Hi

I'm using 1.9.4.3 "Faanui" and selected Europe/London during the install but I to have to clear the cache to see the new pages I am adding. Really frustrating.

In England it is currently British Summer Time but the clocks go back an hour very soon.

What should I be setting my timezone to ?
