[SOLVED] 1.9 bug? news module checkboxes get unchecked.

this has been the case since 1.9, i'm not sure if this is an old bug or new - when there are field definitions in the news module that are checkboxes, and they are checked when a news item is posted, the next time one goes in to edit the post, the checkboxes are unchecked.

i've tested this with a number of CMSMS installations.

i don't see this in the forge as a bug so i'll add it there as well.

it's been fixed in the latest version of the news module. you can apply the patch described here:
http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/bug/view/6215

should also be fixed in the latest beta (1.10).
