[Solved]Cannot access ADMIN after transfer

Using latest CMSMS

Have just transferred a site from a test directory to its own. Everything OK visually but I cannot get into admin.

Have checked username and password - I have them printed out from the fresh installation of CMSMS so know they are correct. Nothing works. I went into phpMyAdmin and got the encrypted password and used that - still didn't work. Changed the admin username and then got the password sent via email, used that - still didn't work.

Funny thing is I did access admin OK just after I transferred the site. I have changed the .htaccess file and the .config file so think I have messed something up somewhere.

Are there any files that I can check to see the username and password
other than via phpMyAdmin? Can I just go back to phpMyAdmin and put in a new username and password or does that not work?

I don't understand why I cannot access Admin using the username and password in phpMyAdmin.

Finally got it to accept new password via sending email re forgotten password. Even though I hadn't forgotten. What I wasn't doing was to click on the url in the reply then was given the opportunity to enter a new password. I was just copying and pasting the encrypted password which wasn't working.
