Hi,
I'm running CMS Made Simple 1.9.4.2. I'm using PHP 5.2.17, and MySQL 5.1.52. This is all working with Apache 2.2.3 running on Red Hat Linux
We are having trouble with the Printer Module (Version 1.1.2).
When we press the print icon all we get is a blank page. It appears that the {content} tag is not showing any content in the print template.
Has anyone seen this before and if so then how do we fix this?
Thanks,
Paul.

Hello,
Have I done something wrong in how I asked this question? I tried to follow the instructions, posted my server information, wrote a detailed description, etc.
Thanks,
Paul.

Hi Paul!
Don't worry, you've done all right. But sometimes people just don't know the answer to your problem...
Are you facing the print-problem with the news-module or normal pages?

Hi Paul,
What does your site look like ?
What does your print template look like ?
Are you using an override style sheet ?
a bit more info would be helpful for someone to be able to help you.

Re: Printer Module producing empty HTML
I noticed (by accident) that if I turn off the gzip compression in the config.php file then it starts to work.
When I turn on gzip compression then it stops.
This seems to onlt affect the print module.
So I did a little investigation with Charles (HTTP proxy) and the HTTP response for a non-working page is "Encoding Error".
Has anyone experienced this type of behavior before?
Paul.

Re: Printer Module producing empty HTML
Hello. I have the same problem with the printing module. It used to work fine, but all of a sudden it just started producing blank pages.
At the time i used an older version of cmsms but i upgraded it to the latest version hoping it would fix this problem. No luck
I´ve tried other sites with the same printing module and it works fine.

I´ve read that thread before but i can´t find a solution that works for me. I can´t access the php.ini so i can´t change the "allow_url_fopen". Though i must point out that this module has worked great for me before so i don´t think the problem is "allow_url_fopen".Rolf wrote:Perhaps a solution here http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopi ... 8&start=31

But it is possible the host changed allow_url_fopen recently...?Nirven wrote:I´ve read that thread before but i can´t find a solution that works for me.
