CMSMS 1.9.4.1 Dance Studio Site W/ Parallax jQuery

Here's a site I did just recently. I wanted to see if CMSMS would handle a single page site using the scrollto and parallax jquery plugins. Seems to have worked for the most part. I'm having some issues in older browsers that I'm trying to fix as I go here but right now it looks good in IE9, Chrome and Firefox. Safari's hot or miss on some things though.

Have a look and let me know what you think...good or bad.

very very nice, i like you idea and it is working very smooth.


may one thing you have to look in, i'm using 24 inch monitor and then i'm having already the next page on the right side.
Maybe you have to move your second slide further away to the right.

Thanks for the kind words. Always like hearing from other developers. As far as the screen size goes, I had to make a decision on what size I was going to design for. And being the market they are going after are parents, I figured it was pretty safe to go with someone in the 1700px wide. Also it helps to keep the file sizes down even though they are still pretty big.

Like the site and concept. In IE8 the bottom menu bar partially covers the small gallery images as well as page text.

My laptop display is set at 1280X800 if that may help.

Thanks for the info. I laid it out for a a typical monitor that runs at 900px tall. Again, this is more of a test run with parallax and CMSMS as I have a bigger project I'm working on right now that I wanted to test the concept before running with it.

My screen is 1920px wide, and the end is still chopped off, with no scroll bars.. I have to double_monitor and stretch to fit both to see it. Text is hard to read with the black-on-dark.
