[solved] IE 7 makes a mess

Post by janvl »

Hi,

I am searching for a solution to get the following sites look like it should in IE7,
http://www.familie-vanrijen.nl
http://www.freistadt.co.at
I checked in Opera, Firfox, Chrome, Safari and it looks OK
even in IE 8 it is OK

I do not support IE6 anymore.
Are there some specifics to keep in mind for IE7?

I tried to use "clear:both" at several places but that does not work although it looks like a problem with the float.

Gratefull for any hint,

Jan

On the first website, you have a CSS error on line 86. It looks like IE7 stops there.

A BIG THANKS,

I just forgot to check with the validator,
removed the wrong (") and it is OK. Even corrected an other error.

Sometimes one just oversees a little detail and is blind for the right tool.

Kind regards,
Jan
