Site display slowly in Internet Explorer

Hi all,

i noticed recently that a few sites i done are displaying slowly in IE 8 & 9. It's like that a page displays 2 times quickly, causing a blinking/flashing effect. In firefox no problem, it's clean and without blinking effect...
My pages are cachable, my stylesheet too (cms_stylesheet tag). Does anybody have the same problems with IE ?

Hard to say what is going on until we can visit your site and take a look under the hood. Perhaps there are some JS or CSS issues that cause the problem you report. If you can post a link, that will help. Also have you tested the site on IE on a different machine?

In general though there is nothing within CMSMS itself that should influence the behavior of a site on different browsers.
