Hello CMSMSers!
Working with a new client and just did a fresh install of the latest CMSMS. Everything checked out with the green check during installation. After installation, I went into the CMS Admin and deleted all the pages except the HOME page so that I could get rid of that default content.
I then just clicked Add New Content and put a title, menu text, and text in the content area. After clicking SUBMIT, it takes me back to the Pages page and says "The content was successfully added to the database.". But when I look on that page, I don't see my new page I just created! I still only see the Home page that I didn't delete.
I've tried this multiple times and have never had this issue with CMSMS in the past.
Please help!
Thanks in advance!

Re: Cannot add a page!
I just deleted the entire install as well as the database and did a full install again. Same problem! Is there a glitch with the latest version of CMSMS??
Please help!

Does your content appear after clearing cache?
Is your timezone set correctly in config.php?

check this post:

This is the third time in a couple of weeks this problem pops up.
Did anything change in the latest version of CMSMS that causes this?

[solved] Re: Cannot add a page
Clearing the cache fixed the issue. Hopefully I won't have to do this after everytime I create a page! Must be something in the latest build of CMSMS since i've never had this issue in the past.
The first time I installed I set my time zone, the second time i chose NONE. Hopefully that shouldn't affect anything.
Thanks!

Re: Cannot add a page
This is getting annoying!
After every page I create, I then have to go and Clear the Cache for the page to showup!
Any ideas to get around this?

Re: Cannot add a page
The OP has not followed the forum rules, so there's little technical information we can glean, or advice we can give... so we won't bother.
But to the others that may be reading this thread:
I had this problem on one of my old VM's running Windoze XP and an older version of XAMPP (PHP 5.2.8.. I didn't bother to check mysql version). Adding content would add stuff to the database, but wouldn't show up in the listcontent list, using CMSMS 1.9.4.1
Turns out this was due to an inconsistency in the time settings between XP and mysql. So the solution is to make sure that your server's time operations are properly set, and set to the same time zone. How do do that in your various environments: LAMP/MAMP/XAMPP/WAMP is not a subject for this forum.
