/* latest install on vista xampp home dev */
Hi,
I have been working with the same install for weeks now -no crashes, etc., everything worked fine. Last night, I tried to install the captcha module without success --> the install hung up in the middle of the process, just a blank white screen was visible.
I re-tried several times and finally gave up and went back to pushing margins and tweaking templates for about an hour before the Pc got turned off.
This morning, the site itself on my home server was working properly, but admin theme had no css.
Most likely, the attempted captcha install might have something to do with it. In an attempt ot fix the issue, the downloaded and not installed captcha module files were deleted in a windows Explorer window instead of uninstalled through the module manager, since the Module-Page under Extensions only provided a blank white page.
options:
-reinstall NCleanBlue theme with xml file which I can not locate,
-reinstall ModuleManager completely or certain parts, which I can not locate either, (how would a partial module re-install affect the existing configuration?)
-un/reinstall something else
how can I return to previous state?
thanks
NCleanBlue backend css broken
Re: NCleanBlue backend css broken
I would say that deleting the captcha folder and its contents in[root]/modules/ should do it. But obviously not in your case.
Could you check the html sourcecode of the blank admin page for error messages?

Re: NCleanBlue backend css broken
Hi, Jos
the "login.php"-Page renders correctly with css formatting.
Once logged in, the css for the backend disappears. --> the install pretty much functions, but without the css formatting; and the frontend works properly too, with css.
The "home"-Page for the admin section is looking for "styles.php" instead of styles.css, according to the source.
All pages in the backend render the data unformatted, except for the "Modules"-Page which normally lists the installed modules which shows a blank page right now. The "Modules"-Page has no source code (the browser does not even open another tab for the source).
The file "listmodules.php" exists in the "/admin/"-Directory.
Hope this helps, thanks
