FEU module giving error messages now.

Front End Users version 1.6.10
CMS version 1.9.4.1

I'm confused with the settings for the FEU module. I've had it installed for quite some time and all of a sudden it seems to be giving these messages below. I can login, and view my member page and I log out again. There are these error messages are at the bottom of this page;

Then I am logging out but on return to the login form page the form is gone and the error messages are there instead.

I can only seem to get rid of them by going into the FEU admin and I see a green arrow that says "Log out this user" that seems to refresh the errors and the login form appears again.

I have looked at the code page given class.cms_variables.php but I don't understand what can be changed. Please can you help? Thanks

Your FEU version is out of date. I have 1.12.13. If it were me, I would try updating this module first - you might find the "deprecated" errors disappear.
