problems installing on localhost (win 7)

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

problems installing on localhost (win 7)

Post by Berni »

I use Xampp for install all PHP, Mysql, apache, etc., stuff

For installing CMSms i create a subdirectory named cms on htdocs subdir.

CMSms was installed on cms subdirectory and then create a config.php file.

when installing CMSms recived the following errors:

E_strict is enabled
E_deprecated is enabled
Testing for remote URL:
Outgoing http connections do not appear to work. There is a firewall or some ACL for external connections? This will result in module manager, and potentially other functionality failing.

Please can you helpme to understand and resolve this?

Really i will apreciate your help.

I ran into the same problem. All I needed to do, was edit a file.

Thanks Ronny for your help. I made the changes you recommend and all run right.
