When entering metadata in the option tab of the content editing page, I noticed that, after submitting the page, the metadata is displayed on top of the page. Thsi is when I visit the site.
How come??
metadata on top of the site????
Re: metadata on top of the site????
Where did you put the {metadata} tag in your template?
Re: metadata on top of the site????
Is that required? I thought "metadata", I add the names that relate to my site. I read the help, and I see that I must add {metadata} in 'Option tab', like this:
{metadata} zeilboot, Hanse, Gregor, Hanse311, "uisge beatha",
{metadata} zeilboot, Hanse, Gregor, Hanse311, "uisge beatha",
Re: metadata on top of the site????
{metadata} is a tag for you template. It should go between your tags. It's basic purpose is to put in tags either on a sitewide basis, or per page. When you type stuff into the metadata box, it needs the full tag definition.
Re: metadata on top of the site????
Thanks!
One question left (perhaps), do mean to put
Uisge Beatha - een Hanse311 zeilboot
in a CSS? If so, which one would you suggest?

NOOO
...
1. Put your metatags like and so on in options tab of the content editing page.
2. Add the tag {metatag} inline the area of your template.

Re: metadata on top of the site????
oeps..
Thanks for the tip! If I look at the source code of the first page, I see the tag's. I checked the template and by default (?) the {metatag} is there. Although I don't see the tag's on the webpages. That means that for every page you have to enter metatags in options tab of the content editing page?

Re: metadata on top of the site????
There are global keywords on the Site Admin->Global Settings. They will be applied to all pages with the {metadata} tag on them.
