Hello. I`ve got one problem- i dont know how to include comments module into news module. When I put in summary template  {cms_module module="comments"} that doesnt look good.
How can i make in template only link to comment news, and when i will go to post-comment page, that will show me news and comment module.

Sorry for language errors, english isnt my native language. If you doesnt understand anything, please write that, i will wirte my problem once again...

I did my best to implement News support in the Comments module, but ran into some API limitations.  Ted said he would look into this.  So let's wait and maybe remind him of this task from time to time :-)

Ok, great, thanks!

This is a thing from "must have" series!

Anyway the way you try this won't work, as the comment would attach to the page including the news and not to the news article itself...

All solutions I tried didn't work. I tried to do a newscomment module but had problem with redirection thing...

hope someone will write such a stuff someday, then we could even use the News module for a blog.
I hope to try hacking on the news module again. I really want to use CMSMS to power my blog.
Note: I don't have time to take on any more projects. I'm quite busy. I may be too busy to reply to emails or messages. Thanks for your understanding. :)

Cool, this would be an AWESOME feature!  :D
I guess I won't try hacking the comments module again since Ted is going to work on it.  ;D

I'll probably start work on making a MovedPages module.

Currently only available in svn

so you'd have to download an svn client, and checkout the latest and greatest CMS core, and then the latest and greatest comments module.

Or be patient, and wait for the next beta release.

I am using 1.0beta6 and when I uploaded it I got this error:
Fatal error: Class blogmodule: Cannot inherit from undefined class cmsmodulecontenttype in /home/tswpnth/public_html/modules/Blog/Blog.module.php on line 530
, so I had to delete it from the modules dir (before I'd even installed the module.)
I hope you can get it to work with 1.0beta6 (unless it just does not work for me).
