Image Manager 1.9.3
Image Manager 1.9.3
Anyone else having any issues with the Image Manager in 1.9.3 (clean installation - no plugins or extra mods installed)?
I am having problems deleting images and creating folders?
Update: If I log out and log back in again I can then see the folders I have just created. I can also see that the images have been deleted.
Seems like some kind of caching issue?
Tried on two different hosts - both throw up the same issue.

Re: Image Manager 1.9.3 - browser cache issue
I seem to be having the same issue with 1.9.3. If I add or remove files or folders in Image Manager, the browsers continue to display the cached pages before the additions/deletions were made. If I clear the browsers cache and refresh the page the correct contents of the folders are displayed. Exactly the same results in Chrome & FF.
File manager works perfectly.
If anyone has solved this or can suggest any solutions I would be really grateful. I can work around this but I need to solve it before I hand it over to clients.
Thanks
Chris
Just in case the CMSMS config:

Re: Image Manager 1.9.3
Has anyone else encountered a problem with images or folders added or deleted in Image Manager not showing as added/deleted in Image Manager? But if you check the actual server directory (or use File Manager) the additions/deletions have been made.
Thanks
Chris
Thanks
Chris
Re: Image Manager 1.9.3
Yes, same here with a fresh out of the box 1.9.3 install without any added modules.
Re: Image Manager 1.9.3
Yep this is a caching problem. I've got around it for the current version by forcing the module interface page not to cache. That will depend on your environment etc.
Re: Image Manager 1.9.3
How have you done that?tmoxon wrote: I've got around it for the current version by forcing the module interface page not to cache.

Unfortunately not via a means I'm allowed to post. You can likely force caching rules from whatever web server software you are using though. How have you done that?

Consider me a total noob on server administration. Can you give me a pointer?tmoxon wrote: You can likely force caching rules from whatever web server software you are using though.

Heh - it depends what environment you're hosting on. I may be equally noobish! What OS + Server are you on?Consider me a total noob on server administration. Can you give me a pointer?
Re: Image Manager 1.9.3
Same here, image manager does not seem to show latest changes, even files are loaded into server. Also same problem in the tinymce "add image" folder image list.
File manager works ok, but it doesn't help much since images dont refresh in tinymce "add image" list.
Fresh basic install, same problem with latest ff and ie.
Hopefully we could get quick fix here, so I dont need to start downgrading new sites.
Also it would be nice to know if this is problem with the cms or server?

Re: Image Manager 1.9.3
This, and other issues are fixed in SVN. We are just going through some testing to make sure these issues are fixed once and for all.
