Album - How do you control the width or number of thumbs?

I have a fixed with site and the Album thumbs span/extend beyond the boundries of my site.

How can this be controlled?

Is there a way to limit the number of thumbs that display on a page?

I have tried enclosing it in a div tag and defining the width to no avail.

Go to your Album's properties and change:

Column number: 0

to

Column number: 5

Now you'll have 5 columns of thumbnails.

I'll hopefully post a patch for Album to make 5 columns default. Hopefully it will be accepted.

or it could just be put in the documetation to set the rows, if they don't know about it and want more than 5 they'll be back to ask how to make it more than 5. there's not much in the 'help' section on that module. like the fact that you can set the columns to limit the number of thumbnails on one page and get two pages, if you have a lot of thumbnails.

I've applied a patch to SVN ( http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/scm/?group_id=167 ) that I wrote which allows setting of the default number of rows and columns for new Albums.
