2 ) Question - I'm new to this cms and i'm not sure what it capable of.
What i'm trying to achieve is i want to has a few different page for different type of user (this is the reason i install front end user module ).
So for each page, i want to set only specific user group can view it.
I see in cms made simple there is setting to allow which user group can edit the page this is good.
Additionally i also want the page to has setting which user group can view the page when browsing the website.
I'm not sure what can be done with front end user module because i encounter error upon installing it.
But if this error got fix, can i has page with permission setting which front end user group able to view it like i mention above?
Thanks.

The error is pretty obvious and literally tells you what to do: "ERROR: The CGExtensions module could not be found."

You have to install the CGExtensions module (http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/cgextensions)

As for your second question: No, Frond End Users will not let users edit pages.
Misread the actual question, *puts on hat, walks to corner ::)

Actually the second question was about logged in users seeing specific pages which is what FEU is for, you will also need Custom Content module...

Reading this will help you...

If you're getting the error "CGExtensions module could not be found" it just means that the module used to install modules (called CGExtentions) isn't installed yet.

From the admin area of your CMS Made Simple installation, go to Extentions > module manager > click on C in the ABCD... row > Find CGExtentions & click on download & install.

After that you'll be able to go to Extensions > modules without getting the error and install the other modules.

CMS Made Simple should ship with CGExtensions already installed.
