Modules Used By CMSMS Official Site

Post by digyourpc »

Hello, I have just joined the forum, and so far, its nice being here.

I want to know detailed info of the modules being used by cmsmadesimple.org specially on the site home page, if its possible to share that info.

Also, can I remove copyright info of CMSMS from the site if I am using it as my cms while keeping all copyright info intact in the cmsms core setup files??

Thanks in advance :)

You will need to be a little more specific on what you mean by modules used in main site...

The front end doesn't have to have any reference to CMSMS but the back end does...

Read the info under License here...

The default content mentions that you don't have to link back, but doesn't mention the admin panel. I can't find anything that says that we have to keep the link in the admin panel. In fact, the Commercial Licence page says that we can change the theme in the admin panel.

CMSMS Core allows removing the links and any reference to CMSMS in the admin theme.

You may NOT change the copyrights in the source files in the GPL version. You must purchase a license for that.

Third party modules may add additional license restrictions, so you need to check the license of EACH and EVERY addon module.

For example, ALL of my modules have this additional requirement:
However, as a special exception to the GPL, this software is distributed as an addon module to CMS Made Simple. You may not use this software in any Non GPL version of CMS Made simple, or in any version of CMS Made simple that does not indicate clearly and obviously in its admin section that the site was built with CMS Made simple.
